To Lord Vincent Vermillion, Count of Sagara
My friend,
Another year has passed, another winter has come and the last time we had the chance to share a goblet of wine and talk over important matters, is long ago. I know that you have been busy with your duties as Count of Sagara, as have I here in the Zweiwasser Marches.
Soon I will travel south to visit several friends and allies in different fiefdoms. I plan to go to Siegelstatt, Oron and maybe further to see the construction site of this new city our Nyame is building, Loravinde. Thought I must admit, I do think that the resources we have, might be better used elsewhere, in the fiefdoms, to guard the borders and build our armies, rather then in creating a new metropolis.
I plan to travel with Stordan von Zackenberg, whom I will name my Thul´Heen, should the Elements see fit to let me claim the Throne of Thorns. On our way, we shall pass Tinderos. If you have the time, we could try to stop by in your capital for a night or two, finding out, what vintage you might have hidden down in the old cellars of your city.
May Ignis Light shine on your path, always.
