Who: Skara and Ramirez
Where: Sagara
When: the first weeks of the new year
--------------------------------------
First this letter was sent to Ramirez:
Ramirez,
I hope you and your people are well and can rest a little bit. The realm has a lot of trouble in the moment, is sagara attaked in some way, too? A lot has happened in the last month since we fought togehter. Not only for the realm but for me. Among the few people I call truly friends are you. That is why I need to speak to you in person. I don't want so summon you, I want to meet simply as friends and fellow soldiers. So - if you have me - I will come to sagara. Since I never was there I'm very curious about your home.
We'd part as soon as you invite us.
May the elements guide your way
Skara
Shortly after Ramirez answer Skara and a few of the liongard parted for the fiefdom.
The horses sweated a lot in the heat of the sun. The air war heavy and hot. The men were struggling, too. Marching and riding fast forward, yes. But it was not a pleasant trip for them, because they weren't used to the climate and dressed way too thick. The horses were heavy and wore pieces of armour, too. But here they sould have been light and fast.
But one person had the time of her live. Skara was riding ahead, sweating and huffing, too. But she was too amazed by the sights here to notice that.
The beauty of the sea of gras stretching until the mountains in the distanz, the animals she could spot between the high gras. Almost like a exitect child she was pushing forward. Not because she didn't care for her poor lionsgard behind her or the tired horses. She just couldn't wait to see even more.
She hold on to the scarf around her head that sould protect her a little bit from the sun. At Shan Meng-Feyn the month were way colder and darker, so her skin wasn't prepared for the trip (Someone had pointed out before dressing her - she didn't care)
Ahead in the distant she saw the fortress Merak. The beauty of it's strongness watching over the plains around it was magnificent. The wind was playing with all the red and gold banners she knew so very well. As they came closer she could spot people in golden amour on the walls ... So that's their home, she thought. It fitted them perfectly.
When the travelers entered the fortess it was quite the oposite to the calming nature outside. It was a busy city full of soldiers, horses, little buildings and workplaces. Almost instantly people helped them dismount, grabbed water for their horses and huge bottles for the men. The liongard was greeting and shouting to the soldiers they still knew from the last battles.
Skara joined them but her eyes where searching for two particular men. Ramirez and Vicent were nowhere to be seen in the busy scenery.
