It was hot that day, and Lady Sayeh decided that it might be best to walk in the courtyard of Margrave Balor’s castle with a book in her hand and a pear to eat in the other, her maiden guard just behind her as she walks outside.
Now aware that most of the guards, as well as the Margrave himself were away doing maneuvers, she stays content that at the very least she is safe within the these walls.
She goes out light linens reading one of the books she brought with her, trying to refresh her memory of knowledge that has collected dust in the backs of her mind.
The cobbles of the road below make her feet tire easily and she sits on a wall putting her book in her lap.
